Treayo Customs Intelligence is a free open-access encyclopedia of cross-border trade data covering 13 customs jurisdictions — US, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Australia, Brazil, Mexico — with China customs integration in progress.

Our mission: make cross-border compliance data transparent, searchable, and citable. An HS misclassification by one digit can mean 20% duty delta, a container on hold, or a $5k fine. Yet this information remains scattered across national customs portals, PDF annexes, government gazettes, and paywalled commercial databases. Treayo consolidates it into one open index.

Sources: national customs authorities, tax bureaus, commerce ministries. Published annual tariff schedules and policy gazettes. We preserve raw rate strings and legal citations for cross-verification.

AI classifier: product description → three-stage pipeline (chapter-hint LLM → FTS5 candidate recall → structured-elimination LLM) → HS code with confidence and reasoning. 10 free lookups per IP per day.
